Product Introduction

Mobile jib crane is a flexible and movable lifting equipment, also known as portable jib crane, movable jib crane. It is different from column-mounted jib crane and wall-mounted jib crane. It is equipped with mobile wheels at the bottom to facilitate the movement of the whole machine. At the same time, it has a stable chassis to ensure balance during movement, focusing on portability. It is widely used in factories, warehouses, docks, workshops, and other places for short-distance and frequent material handling and lifting operations. It combines the flexibility of a jib crane and the convenience of mobile equipment, and can be quickly deployed in different locations to improve work efficiency.

Features

      • 1
Strong flexibility: The mobile jib crane can move flexibly in different working environments and adapt to various operating requirements. Whether it is at different workstations on the production line or in the warehouse, it can complete the task efficiently.
      • 2
Easy to operate: The equipment has a friendly operating interface, and operators can start after a brief training, which reduces the waste of human resources and improves work efficiency.
      • 3
Energy saving and environmental protection: It adopts advanced electronic control system with high energy-saving efficiency, which can effectively reduce the operating costs of the enterprise while ensuring safety during operation.
      • 4
Strong durability: After strict material selection and process control, the service life of mobile jib crane can reach 15 years, helping enterprises reduce the frequency of equipment replacement and reduce unnecessary investment.
      • 5
Save space: Compared with fixed jib cranes, it does not require fixed installation and does not occupy a permanent site. It can be pushed to a corner for storage when not working, without affecting the operation of other equipment.
      • 6
Lower cost: Compared with large cranes, the investment, and maintenance costs are lower.
      • 7
Ready to use: No foundation or track is required, just move to the designated position and lock it for operation.
      • 8
Safe and reliable: equipped with safety devices such as limiter and overload protection.

Structure

    • 1
Column: The column independently supports the entire cantilever structure, bears the vertical and lateral loads during hoisting, usually welded or bolted to the mobile base. It is made of high-strength steel (Q235B/Q345B) welded structure to ensure rigidity and bending resistance. Some light jib cranes use aluminum alloy to reduce weight.
    • 2
Cantilever: Its function is to provide a horizontally extended working radius and support the operation of the hoist. Its structural design often adopts a box beam or I-beam structure to ensure torsional and bending resistance. Some high-end models adopt a truss design to reduce weight.
    • 3
Mobile base: Its function is to provide mobility and support the stability of the whole jib crane machine. It is often equipped with 4 heavy-duty casters (2 fixed wheels + 2 universal wheels, or full universal wheels) for easy pushing and steering. Meanwhile, it has the brake function. The casters can be locked during operation to ensure stability during lifting and prevent the equipment from sliding. It adapts to different ground surfaces. It can be moved on flat workshop and warehouse floors. Some models are equipped with rubber wheels to reduce damage to the ground.
    • 4
Counterweight: It ensures stability during lifting and prevents tipping.
    • 5
Lifting mechanism: It is installed on the cantilever track or trolley, to achieve vertical lifting of goods. Commonly used types of hoist are: manual hoist (hand pull/hand lever): suitable for light loads (0.5~3 tons), economical and durable; electric hoist: fast lifting speed (usually 4~10 m/min), supports remote control operation; pneumatic hoist: used in explosion-proof environments (such as chemical and petroleum industries).

Maintenance and safety precautions

  • 1
Regular inspection: wire ropes, chains, pulleys, casters, and other key components
  • 2
Avoid overloading: Use strictly according to the rated load to prevent tipping
  • 3
Lock the casters: Be sure to brake and lock them before lifting to ensure stability and prevent sliding during operation.
  • 4
Operation training: Operators need to be familiar with the equipment operating specifications.
