Fixed column jib cranes are one type of powerlifting and transportation equipment. The fixed column jib crane is used widely in construction, transportation, and other industries. All kinds of fixed column jib cranes are composed of numerous parts. These parts would be in wear and tear due to various factors during use. If these parts are out of use like this, everyone will feel that it is a waste. I will share with you three methods of repairing parts.
The shafts and holes of the jib crane parts form elliptical and irregular shapes due to uneven wear when used. When repairing, the worn shaft or hole is machined within the allowable range of the part structure to restore the correct geometric shape or matching properties through the change of size. This method is called the repair dimension method.
Insert a new metal sleeve on the worn part of the spare part by static fit to restore the spare part to its original size. This method is called the insert method.
When the damage occurs in one part of a component of jib cranes, the rest of the other part does not need to repair. The worn part needs to cut off. Then the part is remade, and it is connected to the main body of the part by welding. The repair method that restores the original performance of the parts after final processing is called local replacement. Due to the characteristics of use, some parts tend to wear on one side, and the other side of the symmetry wears less. If the structure of the part allows, the unworn side of the part can be in use without the complete repair of the part, which is called the turning and overturning repair method.
Due to its large steel structure, the stability of the jib crane foundation is very important. In the jib crane accident, the unqualified foundation of the jib crane foundation causes the collapse of the column jib crane to occupy a large proportion. Therefore, to avoid accidents, what should we pay attention to when building the foundation of the jib cranes? According to the analysis of the production and use experience of the jib crane, the causes of the jib crane foundation accident are as follows:
Therefore, to prevent the collapse of the fixed column jib cranes, the construction unit must ensure that the ground endurance meets the design requirements when making the jib crane foundation and that the strength of the reinforced concrete reaches at least 80% of the design value. The bottom surface of the concrete foundation should be flat and compacted, and the bottom of the foundation should not be made into a pot bottom shape. The size error of the base bolt must be strictly under the requirements of the basic drawing. The anchor bolts should maintain the length of the ground and each anchor bolt should be preloaded with a double nut. The foundation surface should be treated before installation to ensure that the foundation level should not exceed 1/1000.
